There are landscapes and great architectural works which become the identity of a certain place and as such, they invite to pose and take a picture in from of them in order to document andverify presence.The space I inhabit also has its places of interest, but the images of the photographic serie do not show me posing in front of these places, but rather make evident sculptural objects that have their origin in the precarious architecture of a poor country, and therefore symbolize or associate with another culture. Through the photographic practice I have explored the concept of integration trying to merge architectural elements in a single image making evident the fragility in front of the imposing spaces.
Espacios que Habito
Existen paisajes y grandes obras arquitectónicas que se convierten en identidad de un determinado lugar, y como tal, invitan a posar y tomarse una foto frente a ellas con el fin de documentar y constatar presencia. El espacio que habito también tiene sus lugares de interés, pero las imágenes de la serie fotográfica no muestran a mi persona posando frente a estos lugares, más bien se hacen evidentes objetos escultóricos que tienen su origen en la arquitectura precaria de un país pobre, y por tanto simbolizan o asocian a otra cultura. A través de la práctica fotográfica he explorado el concepto integración, intentando fundir elementos arquitectónicos en una sola imagen, haciendo evidente la fragilidad ante la imponencia de los espacios.
